I had two more days in Italy; one was Easter Sunday and monday. On easter Sunday, we took the Metro to the vatican and were able to get there to see the Pope give the easter speech, which was so amazing to experience. It was pretty crowded, but manageable. We had lunch and got on a Big Bus Tours bus to get around Rome. Sometimes those tour busses are not worth it in some cities; either they drive a route that you could easily walk or its too expensive, but in this case it made sense. We saw a lot of the city and it was very cool; but once again; not really my thing. The regular transportation busses in Rome/ italy as a whole are very inconsistent, and that is not cool when 3 women are trying to make it to their rooms before dark. The people in Italy were pretty alright; but if I was going to do the trip again, I would spend saturday and sunday in Rome flying out monday and only if I was able to get a ticket to the Catholic Mass on Easter. That is my opinion; I think form what I have heard other parts of Italy are much better than Rome, like Venice, Florence, Milan, and Turin. Overall, I did not have the best time in Rome; I think it would have been better without the crisis of trying to find our friend another place to stay, but it is what it is.
