We went to Stonehenge for class and it was a lot of fun! The bus ride was around 3 hours and we had to get up very early, but it was a great experience. We also went to Woodhenge and Avebury; two places that are connected to Stonehenge. At Woodhenge we got to get on top of some of the bollards in the ground and at Avebury we were able to get lunch and touch the stone circles. Stonehenge was so amazing to see in person; things like stonehenge that you have heard about for so long and then you finally are able to see in real life, it does not feel real. It was a sort of rainy day but we had a really great time. You don't get to touch the stones at stonehenge, but just knowing all of the stories and theories that exist around the stones made going there so worth it to me.
