Yeah... Flying from Stockholm to Rome was quite the change; it was much hotter in Rome than it was in Stockholm and I hate the heat. To be honest, I did not enjoy my time in Rome that much. We were there for Easter weekend, and apparently so was every other person in the world. It was so crowded that it really was not enjoyable, and we had a problem where I had reserved a room for two people, but there were three of us because one person came last minute. Unlike in America, they do not allow extra guests and this is pretty standard across Europe. We had to find this girl a place to sleep in ROME, over EASTER. It was a hot mess but we did it. Note to all of you, DO NOT make this mistake. Do not try to sneak someone in either, because they will find out, and you will be kicked out and fined. We were not that silly, but its really not worth the risk; just message the host on whatever site beforehand if you know an extra person is coming with you all. Anyways, the past and pizza in Italy was pretty good, but honestly the first day was pretty overshadowed for me because the ordeal with finding the girl a place to sleep sort of released a flood of feelings for me and I was pretty overwhelmed that day. We did see a lot of the touristy sites like the Colosseum, but we did not have tickets for that so we only saw the outside. Rome is a beautiful city but not when there is a ton going on for easter. It also did not really feel safe all the time; just some things I saw there gave me not so great vibes. There are a lot of stray cats in Rome though, so that was pretty cool. After my first day in Rome, I decided I needed a vacation from my vacation, and traveled BY MYSELF to Switzerland for a day.
