Castle Combe

As previously mentioned, I chose to not go back with my classmates after we explored Bath and elected to hop on a train to a town called Chippenham. I stayed at a hotel in Chippenham which was a pretty charming city, but it was a little too industrial for my liking. Anyways, the reason I stayed in Chippenham was because there is a bus that runs through Chippenham's train station that goes right to Castle Combe, which is a beautiful village nearby full of quaint houses, a river, gardens and a manor house. I had a lovely time going there all by myself and met some other lovely people who had heard about the town on Instagram, just like me. It does not take long to explore the town; maybe around 3 hours so my recommendation is to take the morning bus then ride back to Chippenham and explore Chippenham for the rest of the afternoon. I had a really great time; I also had to navegate a couple different train lines and tube lines to get to London and then to get to the right station in London to catch a train back to Canterbury.
